A big shoutout to NBV Constructions for bringing all the details from the design and drawings into reality. It’s always exciting to see the vision move from plans and renders to the real thing.

We begin by designing the layout and selecting the materials, then bring everything to life through realistic 3D visualisations — so you can see how the kitchen will look and feel before committing to construction.

From there, we refine the details, make any final changes and prepare the documentation your cabinetmaker or builder can use to accurately price and build the design.

From dated and disconnected to calm, considered and cohesive.

For this home, the goal was to rethink not just how each space looked, but how the home worked as a whole.

We started by establishing a modern, earthy and natural design direction, then looked carefully at the existing layout and how we could make better use of the available space.

From there, the new floor plan and design came together — creating a more open and functional kitchen, living and dining area, alongside refreshed bathrooms and a softer, more cohesive material palette throughout.

Warm timber, muted greens, soft neutrals and simple, natural finishes bring everything together, while keeping the overall feel relaxed and practical for everyday living.

This is always one of my favourite parts of the process — taking what already exists, seeing the potential, and giving clients a clear vision of what their home could become.

The transformation starts long before the renovation does.

This kitchen began as a very different space, but with thoughtful planning, a clear design direction and detailed 3D visualisation, we could explore its potential before anything was changed.

That’s one of the most valuable parts of the design process — being able to see how the layout, materials, proportions and finishes will work together before committing to the build.

Because when you can see the direction clearly, making the big decisions becomes a whole lot easier.
