A reminder to have regular inspections on any large trees which you may be concerned about around your house and property!

This Poinciana branch failed back in December in Edmonton and this Euodia tree came down on a house in Manoora just last week.

In both cases there was no heavy wind however rot had gotten into the bases of the trees.

We've seen two Poinciana trees come down in the past two weeks. Both these trees had been affected by fungus which caused the roots to rot. This is becoming common in Poincianas and at this stage there is no cure. If you notice large brown or black splotches at the base of your Poinciana tree please call and we will inspect it for free.
