Cairns Community Administration Support is sponsored by 'The Power Of Pallets'.

The Power Of Pallets recycles pallets making new tables, chairs, toys and other decorative pieces using discarded pallets, they then donate those profits to charities such as the hospital foundation, Harold's house, Ruth's Woman's Shelter and Yaps.

Last year the "Power of Pallets" fundraiser, with the help of the local community, was able to raise $17,000 for the Hospital foundation.

Power Of The Pallets is ‘up cycling’ the timber pallets into useful items that can be auctioned off and the proceeds will go towards the Cairns Hospital foundation.So all the donations of wood help, and your donated items will be auctioned to the public at the Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal on Friday 28th of August 2015, commencing at 6.30pm.

The Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal will also be hosting a Cocktail Party in conjunction with the auction. The entry fee of $39 includes canapés and entertainment, drinks will be available for purchase on the evening. Please click on the “Buy Tickets Button” on the Power Of The Pallets website to secure your entry ASAP. You are encouraged to take the opportunity to “frock up” for the party. All profits go to the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation.
