We are very excited to share something thats been in the works for months now.
Will be sharing more soon around this new set of services we will be offering, on top of our existing services, around Aquatic maintenance, but here is our first pond clean up.

One of our regular customers asked if we knew anything about goldfish and ponds, and was shocked by how much we did!

Safe to say now a few weeks after, these 3 little water cows have never felt better, and our customers are now able to see and enjoy their fishy friends again.

We cleaned out the whole pond removing all the leaf and fish waste accumulated, reduced the plants, cleaned out the pump and filter, added an extra hiding spot, and assessed the fish for any obvious illness or injuries before returning them to their nice tidy house.

We still have a few other projects and updates coming that we are very excited to share with you, so stay tuned to our page for updates.

Another big ivy clean up.
This was growing through the fence and up the house.

We get many questions about Ivy removal and cost, but unfortunately it is a job that is variable on the initial removal, and requires constant maintainance and use of w**d killers to ensure to complete removal without re-landscaping.

Generally the ivy needs to be seen in person to give an idea of the cost and time to get rid of it properly as some ivy can stem from one main trunk of the initial plant.
However over time it spread into any space it can find, this job was one initial trunk under the fence yet it had spread under the old tree line, rock bed and pavement.

The bulk of the infestation here was removed, then a application of a w**d killing agent and a pre-emergant was use afterwards the ensure anything that was missed or unable to be removed dies off and is easier to remove in future.

We get asked alot about the best time to do ivy removal, realistically any time is right.
However the best time is during winter when the growth of the plant is low and the pre-emergants have time to rid the soil of active seeding prior to spring growth.

Sometimes you really need to go back and look at the before photos to remember how much was there in the first place. 😲

This ivy removal was an enormous job, but with regular maintenance we should hopefully be able to make sure it doesn't come back.
