Some observations of Dickson as we work on the Green at Dickson project for the Dickon Tradies.

The 1.8-hectare site forms a link between the existing Dickson shopping village to the north and Sullivan’s Creek to the south.

Our master plan proposes a mix of dwellings, retail that supplements the existing mix at Dickson shopping village, and a public green that faces Sullivan’s Creek, itself restored into a biodiverse creekfront.

2. Details of the Dickon library designed by the late Enrico Taglietti
3. The bike path along Sullivan’s Creek

Some pics of the Daramalan Performing Arts Centre in Dickson (ACT).

The building is designed as a building within a building - the black box theatre sits inside an articulated and performative brick façade. The outer skin of the building is punctured with openings that lead to balconies, sheltered outdoor spaces and a small amphitheater.

23 National Circuit is complete - a highly sustainable six-storey office building that is human in scale and positively impacts on the wellbeing of its occupants.

At the time of design, this was the first mass timber construction office building in Canberra. Thanks to for their trust and collaboration on this project.

Internal fitouts are underway, we look forward to seeing the building come into its own.

The transformation of Parramatta North aims to help house our growing city and accommodate the expansion of Westmead around the new light rail corridor. It also focuses on safeguarding the enhancing Parramatta River as a living system.

The project journey has been enlightening, through a process of walks, yarns, testing and reviews, the framework is responsive to Country and aims to nestle new communities within a river based urban environment.

Stewart Architecture has been leading a multi-disciplinary team in the creation of an Urban Design Framework that will guide the development of 42 hectares of land in Sydney’s Parramatta North (NSW) over the next 30 years.

Development of the Parramatta North precinct is being led by Property and Development NSW (part of the Department of Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure). The site consists of underutilised, mostly government-owned land, on the edge of the Parramatta River.

Our Urban Design Framework for Parramatta North is informed by an ongoing Country-led design methodology to ensure best practice Designing with Country outcomes.

Traditional Owners together with a range of other First Nation groups maintain a strong spiritual and cultural connection with the place.

The project begins from an inclusive approach which recognises all histories, stories, and past and present communities of the site as being part of Country.
