In our Narrabundah project we integrated a set of vintage louvre doors into a full wall of custom joinery.

The primary challenge was to fit the doors into the existing window frame with enough precision that no planing was required.

This was important as we needed to preserve the original red paint and the character of the timber. By ensuring the framing was exact, we were able to incorporate something that was sentimental to our clients into the new lounge room renovation without altering their original finish.

L + M Residence, Hackett

We carried the aesthetic from our client's kitchen into their laundry with a matching fireclay sink, brass tap, and hanging rail.

Despite being a simple walk-through space, we maximised every millimetre to include:

A full-height broom cupboard for essential storage.

A stacked washer and dryer to save floor space.

A functional benchtop with both overhead and lower cabinetry.

To achieve the dual-tone look of the kitchen (on a simpler scale), we opted for a Polytec matt finish for the joinery and painted the ceiling in the same colour as the kitchen island to perfectly tie the two rooms together.

We took this Watson townhouse from a closed, early-2000s floorplan to a light-filled open plan home by removing a wall & reconfiguring the kitchen.

The result is a full transformation, establishing the kitchen as the central hub of the home with instant connection to the adjoining living and dining areas.
