Hello Green (and-not-so-green) thumbs

The year's talk series begins this coming Monday (the 16th of Feb) with a demonstration from Greame Davis. His focus will be on how to display your carefully grown dahlias to catch the eye of judges and hopefully a prize or two.

Graeme is an experienced national and international judge of flowers. He is President of the Australian Dahlia Society and has won lots of impressive awards at the Royal Easter Show. Greame has a soft spot for dahlias, daffodils, roses and iris.

We will start at 7.30pm at Wesley Foyer, 20-22 National Circuit, Forrest, Canberra ACT 2600 Australia. As always, the presentation will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions.

While I have you.... the Council would love to hear from members about talk topics of interest or burning horticultural questions that may be used as stimulus for future talks.
Please let us know if you have a suggestion and the council will endeavor to find suitable presenters.

We are deeply saddened about the passing of our dear friend and owner of Greengold Nursery, Kieron Hart.

There is now a missing piece of the heart of Federation Square, but your legacy will never leave us.

Our condolences are to his Wife Di, family members and the Team at Greengold Nursey. Our hearts are with you all ❤️

There is a beautiful flower tribute, in front of Greengold if you want to show Di and Greengold your support in this difficult time.
