It's that time again. Bill will be back in the nursery this Saturday, 6th June, with his locally grown plants. Come and say hello and find something beautiful for your garden. And with some moisture in the ground, there is still plenty of planting opportunity.

Winter Trading Hours have commenced. So we are opening a bit shorter hours on the weekends for the winter months of June July and August.

Mon to Fri 8.30am to 4.30pm
Sat and Sun 10am to 4pm
Mon 8th June (Kings Birthday Public Holiday) 10am to 4pm

These beautiful advanced Grevillea Lady O' have come in bursting with flowers and buds. They are in 330mm pots and about 1m tall.

Many of our mallows including Lysiosepalum, Thomasia, Lasiopetalum and Guichenotia are all begining to flower now. Most are perfect for partly shaded postions and are frost hardy. Pictured is Lysiosepalum involucratum.

Some of the eremophilas flowering in the nursery at the moment. These wonderful and tough little plants are a great addition to any garden. Love the sun, not fussy on the soil as long as its not boggy, most are frost hardy and all are particularly drought hardy. Fabulous under Eucalypts or in an exposed position.
In Canberra they can flower all winter and with enough moisture in the summer, many can flower all summer long too. Honeyeaters and insects love the flowers. A huge range in size and shape, from groundcovers to large shrubs and in every colour of the rainbow. A worthy addition to every garden.

FREE TALK - 2nd May 2026 , 10am in the nursery.

Join us for a free and informative and talk with Brachychiton expert Dave Rowell and find out why these trees are so special and useful in our Canberra environment.
You will see more Brachychitons being planted as street trees in Canberra because of there resilience in our hot summers and the make the perfect Backyard tree for shade. Have you ever wondered why they have different juvenile leaves as in the photo above?
We will also have a short talk on Brachychitons for Bonsai with Daniel.
