"90 hours and the second layer is thinning out... I've used them almost everyday. They've outlasted my old leather type gloves probably by 2-3 pairs worth and at least 8-10 pairs of the cheaper ones.

"They've been used for everything - general gardening, mulching, moving rocks, laying stepping stones, house renovation work, gyprock removal, fencing, firewood stacking. They've saved me a lot of injuries and splinters.

"They're a lot more comfier than any other gloves I've used and have continued to get comfier..."

Sarah is now patching the fingertips with kangaroo hide.

I have so much to learn from her.

Can you tell that I take stress-testing of my glove seriously? 😅

I designed and created The Foundation and this latest iteration, The Foundation V2, with a very talented technical designer and some very special gardeners in Canberra and across Australia. You may be one of them.

At last count we have more than 640 home gardeners and professionals in the trade who believe in what I'm trying to build.

So yes, I do take testing The Foundation V2 very seriously.

The Foundation V2 being subjected to the driveway test. This test is scientifically proven to break most, if not all, garden gloves.

Ours is no different. Do your gloves a favour and use a rake instead.

The Foundation V2 sample arrived this week and testing has begun in earnest.

We've made numerous improvements to the Pilot based on valuable feedback from our customers and Glove Breakers (our community of testers but Glove Breakers sound way cooler). Now we need to make sure those changes make sense and they work as they're meant to.
