A couple of decent size ones on their way back to the client. Both leave with a full birthday, high pressure clean in and out, bake out, tropic proof of windings, new bearings, reassemble. The 37kw had a new fl**ge, fan and fan cover installed and the 75kw was removed and reinstalled in its surround.

Oooops.....looks like this didn't go up before Christmas...

Merry Christmas and enjoy the upcoming time off to rest and recuperate after a massive year. Thank you for the ongoing support, I thank you for you business over the year and look forward to helping where I can in 2024.

I will be taking some time to recharge the batteries with some new additions being made to the workshop soon which is exciting.

The workshop will be closed until - Monday the 8th of January. Please contact me directly if there are any urgent matters which may need looking at but until then enjoy the sunshine.

Another happy air con customer. Hasrin at Island Breeze Air conditioning taking away a double shafted blower unit after having the motor replaced.

Most of the time there will be a replacement outside the manufacturer if you can’t get the original (or have to wait to long).

Just takes a phone call to ask the questions. Always happy to help.

Gotta be careful, might look like something simple but this one turned out to be a 2 parallel 2 star connection for a standard frame sized motor. Always have to check the connection and then take your time when they get complicated. Keeps you on your toes. Good fun.

Temporary Closure Announcement

Dear Customers

Due to circumstances relating to staffing there will be a temporary operating closure required at GR Batt Rewinds.

As you can appreciate attempts to obtain qualified staff in the current climate is difficult to say the least. While efforts have been made to allow business to operate as normal, these have been unsuccessful.

Therefore, please note, the workshop will be shut from Friday April the 14th and will reopen Monday July 3rd. Upon reopening you will notice a rebrand of GR Batt Rewinds along with some well overdue workshop upgrades and renovations which will allow for more streamlined service and additional services being offered.
I will contact you prior to the reopening date to provide the opportunity to organise any work.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your business up to this point, and your understanding and support during the closure. Rest assured I will be back to help in all your motor repair needs for a long time to come.
