Haven’t posted in a while everyone sorry for that! Been a bit slow on the snake front in Airlie Beach hehe!

Someone has been using a very similar name to mine since me leaving the beautiful Redlands, he had a snake catching business that I won’t name but must have been a bit disgruntled at me receiving more customers than him and wants to ride on my coat tails!

This little guy was trapped on some flooring adhesive this morning in a garage. With some olive oil and some gentle manipulation I could cut it away with only a little bit of adhesive paper left on it. A few hours later in the olive oil it came off no problem 👍🐍

Bit of a different one today! Had a call-out to a baby spotted python in the sailing club. The snake was gone but there was this amazing Queensland Tarantula! Also known as a Whistling spider and Bird eating spider! Here is the releas video 🕷️

This nice big brown tree snake was under a bed in Cannonvale last night! Wouldn’t sit still for a good picture though hehe. This individual was almost 5 feet long!

Brown tree snakes are mildly venomous but not something to be worried about. They are rear fanged and predominantly feed on frogs 🐸

My first scrub python! This little guy was chilling in a shed this afternoon in Cannonvale. It was only about 6 feet long but these things can get well over 4 metres! 👍🐍

Hi everyone! It’s been a long time between drinks but we had a call-out today for a common tree snake that Gracie caught all by herself!

It’s been difficult as I’m now working 7 on 7 off in a mining roll but come summer I’ll be still catching on my weeks off 👍
