We are now accredited to help design homes that not only have zero carbon footprint while they are running, but now we can design homes that significatly reduce the embodied carbon of its construction.

What is embodied carbon?

Its all the nasty CO2 that is released from harvesting, transporting and manufacturing the materials that you build your home with.

We are very pleased to have successfully achieved all our goals and full accreditation in the “True Zero Carbon” challenge.⁣
⁣
The aim of the challenge was to design a home that not only considered its operational carbon usage, but also the embodied carbon dioxide (CO2) or the CO2 that is generated by getting the raw materials for the home, processing them in factories then delivery to site.⁣
⁣
We learnt a lot and with the support of Max from .design and the team at we delivered a design that not only met, but actually beat all goals set by a wide margin.⁣

We’ll have a case study up soon to highlight our project “The Binowee House” and how we can help you in reducing your Carbon footprint through practical design solutions.

Congrats to Rob Fawcett from Australian Energyraters for being featured in the DELWP Scorecard assessor newsletter.

To share the achievements of our assessors and applicants, the Scorecard team has created the virtual Golden Ladder award. The Golden Ladder will be awarded for outstanding work or service within the Scorecard community.

The prize? Bragging rights (it's a government program after all).

Rob Fawcett impressed the DELWP Scorecard team with his diligent and speedy approach to the accreditation process. As soon as he completed one stage, he requested to move to the next. Because of this, he went from creating a portal account to being fully accredited in 13 weeks.

Fantastic work, Rob and a huge congrats from the team at Australian Energyraters!

Had a great day at the 'Design Build' Expo with our good friends Sam and Rene from Happy Simple who have helped us with branding and developing our online presence. There was a reduced presence at the show this year but the team at Clenergy really impressed us with their high-quality P.V products and mounting solutions, along with their expert knowledge of the local area's where their products are installed. It great to see a company so engaged in making our future a sustainable one.
