Black Friday is here, and while it may be my favourite time of year to snag a bargain, it’s my husband Matt’s favourite time to stock up on tools (because, of course, “you can never have enough drills,” right?).

A Quick Note on Storage
If you’re planning to stock up, keep these tips in mind:

- Avoid storing items in your garden shed or outdoor areas. Heat, moisture, and pests can cause water damage or insect infestations, especially for items like electrical fittings, timber, soft furnishings, or fabrics.
- Make sure your storage area is dry, well-ventilated, and pest-free.
- Inspect all deliveries immediately for damage or incorrect items. You don’t want to find out too late that the return window has closed before your renovation starts.
