This is one of our last jobs for the year. We pulled down some tired old windows awnings and made some new ones for the owners. They tell me it has made a remarkable difference now that the sun is not boring in. It is now time for us to take a break. We will be off until 16th Jan 2023. We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our valued clients a very Merry & Safe Christmas & New Year. We look forward to getting back into it in the New Year.

Finally finished. We just finished converting this van into a motorhome, ready for teh new owners to take off around Australia. It was a medium size Iveco van. Now has shower, kitchen facilities and 2 single beds. Fully Self-contained with water, grey water holding tanks and plenty of solar panels for constant 12v supply. Thanks to Robyn & Jim for trusting me with this project.

It's been a while since we have had the chance to post anything. Mainly because we have been so busy with our maintenance work. But in the meantime we have also been working on a motorhome conversion project which is very time consuming. This is it so far, but we will have a way to go. Then we have another one to do, so at this stage, looks like we will be well and truly busy until the end of the year.

STUCK ON STRUCTA. We recently enclosed and lined the inside of a shed to make a small room. Instead of using the standard villa board, the team at The Bunker Australia introduced us to Structa Panels. And, we absolutely loved them. I am sold. So much easier to work with. Easy to cut, easy to install, built in moisture protection and gives a real nice finish. And whilst primarily developed for floors, the are so good to use on walls and ceiling as they come in 9mm & 12mm thicknesses.

A bit of a different job this week. Hired a cheery picker to wash down the walls on a very high house. A tad scary at times but we got it clean.

It's taken a while. But we finally got our office desk installed. I used 2 twisted old blue gum slabs with a beautiful burl. Emerald green resin to fill in the gaps and our pet lamb 'Cutlets' to help buff it up. It took 3 of us to lift it in place but was worth the effort.

The recent wet weather gave me a bit of time at home to get back into my furniture building. I made this hall stand from a scrap piece of timber that had quite a few holes in it. I used resin for the first time and was happy with how it turned out.

Yep. We R All Good. Hi everyone, hope you are all surviving the big wet out there. The continuing rain has well and truly put us behind on lots of jobs. It is also proving a challenge to get materials. If we currently have a job underway with you, we apologise for any delays. For anyone new looking for our services, we are sorry, but at this stage we are booked solid for at least the next 3 months for any bigger jobs, but can still try to get to small emergency jobs if required. We thank you all for your support and patience.

Finally, after 2 years, we have completed our bathroom reno. Not that its actually taken me that long, but just trying to do it in between other things. But, it's nice to finally have room in the shower. We used as much recycled timber as we could with the vanity & mirror timber all from old flooring.

We recently helped out installing a new roof over a deck area. We used insulated foam roofing panels in order to get maximum expansion. We were impressed how strong these panels were. They were spanning over 4 metres and we could walk on them without any issues. And they look great once they are up.
