Just a little update on Taradale Blooms, blooms… Autumn has been a super productive season, seeds and seedlings are all sown, and the Summer beds have been put to sleep.
Spring is shaping up to be a real stunner this year 🌸🍃🌈

Our Season is over 🍂

We had a couple of good frosts a few days ago and unfortunately our dahlias don’t like frosts. It’s time to let them do their thing and slowly die down so that they can return even bigger and better for next year 🍃

What started out as a bumpy season, actually turned out to be pretty bloody amazing! Thank you to anyone who brought some of Taradale’s Blooms, your support has been overwhelming.

I’ve loved every minute of being able to create beautiful, affordable blooms and we’ll definitely be back next year 🌸

We’ve finished our season by donating some blooms to the Cootamundra Picnic races. What a cracker of a day ☀️ 🐎

It’s been a massive campaign, but all the Dahlia tubers are finally safe, snuggled up in their warm beds ready for winter ❄️ My dahlia plants have had a great season and they’ve produced stacks of tubers. So much so, that when spring arrives and I wake them, up I’ll have tubers surplus to my needs that I’ll probably sell. If you’re looking to add some dahlias to your garden keep an eye for my post. Or send me a message and I’ll put you down on my list 🌈🌸🌱

It’s finally raining and the cows couldn’t be happier. They get a bit naughty when it’s been raining, a bit like kids. Won’t be long now and I should be able to start turning over some soil and preparing the new beds 🌱
