🌀🚨CYCLONE AND FLOOD WATCH 🚨🌀

The City of Logan Disaster Management Group has today moved to Alert status. TC Alfred is a Category 2 and continues to weaken as it moves south.

It is expected to intensify later this week and move back towards the coast around Thursday.

It is likely to make landfall, but there is a still a great deal of uncertainty about where it will cross. It could be anywhere from Bundaberg all the way down to northern NSW.

Please be mindful in the coming days our roads may be damaged due to the water and the grass will be growing exponentially. Council’s roads and parks teams will be out to proactively fix these issues.

For a swift recovery, you can help by please reporting damaged roads, pot holes, overgrown grass, etc. on any of Council’s communication channels below.
