ps. We will then sand the edges of the area that was scraped to create a “feathered edge”. Then we power wash all the surfaces to be painted with 3200 PSI. Once clean and dry, we address any carpentry issues, spot prime any bare wood, caulk cracks, butt joints, and end cuts, mask off any surfaces that aren't getting painted, and cover any landscaping that is nearby with breathable drop clothes so as not to kill your plants. All this is done before we apply one drop of paint! Now all that's left is to spray and back roll the first coat (back rolling is necessary to ensure that the paint properly adheres to the surface) and spray a second coat. Then we usually paint the trim by hand. Then we remove all masking material, clean up and touch up.
