Bringing the outside in 🌿
Designed to welcome natural light, fresh air and greenery deep into the home, these spaces blur the line between indoors and out.

Open, light-filled rooms invite gathering, conversation and everyday family moments - creating a home that feels connected, calm and made to be lived in together.

Kelly has been with Castlepeake since 2014, having started as a graduate and stepping into a Director role in 2019. He loves a challenge and is a natural problem solver who is known for his outside-the-box thinking. Kelly lives on the Central Coast with his wife, two kids, and their cat, Gerald (the unofficial family peacekeeper).

When he’s not at work, you’ll find him on the golf course, at the beach, or spending quality time with the family.

Waking to soft morning light and sailboats drifting past — this is Sailors Bay.

With water on one side and bushland on the other, the home opens to light, air and calm.
Soft curves, warm materials and spaces that flow — designed for quiet mornings and a daily connection to the landscape.

Light, air and ocean views — the essence of coastal family living. ☀️
Large sliding doors open the heart of this home to the water beyond, blurring the line between indoors and out.

The harbour shimmers beyond the terrace, sails drifting by — welcome to Sailors Bay.

Soft light spills across warm stone and gentle curves, creating an easy rhythm through the home.

Bedrooms open to terraces, a curved stair draws light from above, and every space feels calm, grounded, and alive.

A place for slow mornings, open air, and everyday moments that feel connected to the landscape.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT • SHELLBANK HOUSE

Making the most of a steep, northern-facing block means thinking vertically — with spaces thoughtfully arranged to frame Middle Harbour views at every level. The master bedroom cantilevers over the pool, and decks and gardens provide a variety of peaceful retreats.

LOOK BACK • JETTY HOUSE

Designed to fit a very steep and narrow site linking two street frontages and focussing on views over Brisbane Water.

The structural system is a grid of large hardwood posts that are exposed throughout the house. They are reminiscent of the jetty projecting into the bay below and provide the framework for very disciplined and neat internal planning.

The house is 18 years old now and still owned by our original client who has re-engaged us to update finishes and provide additional amenity including a gym, study and bathrooms. We are fulfilling this brief using the same disciplined planning and maintaining the ‘jetty aesthetic’

CONCEPT DESIGN • TARBEN CREEK

A 60m long sloping site lends itself to a building of similar characteristics. Tarben Creek draws on the topography of the site to form a long narrow split level family home split into segments to offer multiple north facing living zones at each level. A central circulation spine, both horizontally and vertically cuts the house and provides lift access to all 4 split levels – Entry/Kids, Rumpus, Master and Living.
