Things are going good if you have fungus in your garden so if stuff pops up either ignore it or dig it back in.

This is a type of birds nest fungi and how bloody cute is it!!! I’ve actually never seen it this small before. Can’t believe I actually spotted it. Well I sort of can because of the ADHD fungi hyperfocus but yeah…it’s awesome anyways. 🥹

Nothing better than growing your own tomatoes and the time for sowing seeds isn’t actually that far away! This is a good little segment on big tomato farming though. Fun! 💚🍅

Gazanias especially around here! Please don’t buy and plant them as they are super prolific self seeders! Our bushland is getting overrun with these introduced, invasive plants.

Yeah yeah they look pretty on the outskirts of town with their yellows and oranges at ONE time of year but they will eventually take over and are already unfortunately out of control.

So be aware, and yes, the nursery’s need to do better! Native plants are the go. For our pollinators and our planet. 💚

Hey, Australia's nursery industry, when are you going to stop selling w**ds? 🧐

Did you know escaped w**dy garden plants are the primary source of new w**ds in Australia?

Sold to unsuspecting shoppers at nurseries or online, w**d plants like English ivy, Amazon frogbit or pretty gazanias can quickly spread and devastate our precious places and wildlife.

It's time we stopped the sale of these plants. Like if you agree 👍

Scored some cheap “ugly” capsicums so the girls and I got to work processing them in the Benchfoods dehydrator. Man I love this beast of a machine! Next step is to grind the dried strips down to paprika and add it to my herb and spice cabinet. ☺️

How are your caulis and broccolis going?

Asparagus: Once the greenery dies off in your asparagus patch, it’s time to chop! It has done its job by photosynthesising and sending energy down into the crown for the next crop so now it’s time to tidy it up and get ready for the goodness to come. 💚
