Should've listed it with lake views. Might have increased the price 🤣. Actually hitting the bridge this time. A fallen tree hitting the bridge can't get through. Ducks are loving it.

Our 2nd Major flood warning, building is still another 3-4 meters at least higher, So no need to worry. Our forebears knew not to build too low. Will add some images now the sun is getting up. More rain coming, so it may hang around for a bit.

To compare against what is happening now.

11pm last night the waters had reached the bridge, which is normally 3.6 meters clear. An amazing amount of water flowing through. plot table shows the rise, all within 12 hours

Only once before have we seen it rise so sharply in 10 years. The river is going to be huge!

Pretty soon there was just 1 small soldier. All his mates had left. Did they forget him ? Did he miss the memo to move out ? So many unanswered questions for someone so small !

These old timbers will be repurposed into a traditional work bench. Taking a little bit if the Old Depot with us. A keepsake. ❤️

There's something exciting about only having 2 exterior doors rather than 8 as we do here. I think it's little things that we'll notice.
Like 3 steps from bedroom door to the front door instead of 100. ( yes I counted it). Just imagine thinking oh I left my keys on my bed 😅.

Loved re-using old products from the building.
The chook / sheep shed was a fun project.
Oh & we had to increase security once we knew sheep liked chook feed 😀
