VENETIAN PLASTER 🎨

More than just a decorative finish, Venetian plaster is a natural lime-based coating that brings both texture and performance to interior spaces.

Unlike conventional painted finishes, its breathable composition allows walls to absorb and release moisture — helping regulate humidity and reduce the risk of mould and damp over time. It’s also naturally low-VOC, supporting a healthier indoor environment without harsh chemicals.

In a climate like Darwin’s, where moisture is a constant consideration, materials like this simply make sense.

Beyond the practicality, it’s the depth and softness of the finish that draws people in — subtle movement, tonal variation, and a surface that changes beautifully with light throughout the day.

This custom porcelain vanity top was designed and made by us to reflect the Japandi-inspired brief for this bathroom.

The soft, muted tones and subtle texture in the tile work seamlessly with the timber laminate cabinetry, creating the relaxed, spa-like feel our clients were after.
