DJ is our newest employee and has hit the ground running, working with Dave across a broad range of jobs the last few weeks. On Friday, Leigh caught him up a ladder on the job so he had nowhere to hide! 😎

This windowsill has seen better days!

Wait? What?

Weeks (months) of social-media crickets (that aren’t so social after all!) & then just straight into an update?! 🦗🦗
Things have been pretty busy for us this year already!

Dave’s been busy with jobs day in and day out since early January. We tried to put a couple of someone’s on to share the workload, however that turned to custard! Jack is still working with us one day a week while he pursues other opportunities 😎.

Leigh has had an elderly parent on a cancer journey, so there have been lots of medical appointments to attend, shopping and caring to do and there have been some pretty big, unrelated and unexpected housing changes for her parent (timing is pretty terrible), so Leigh is in the throws of planning a renovation to our home - we’re going multi-generational!

We promise we haven’t forgotten about our Dave Brown All Round customers and community! Leigh has been busy juggling a few balls 🤹 and has needed a little downtime.

Ever steady and reliable, Dave has been knocking it out of the park with lots of new customers and quite a few repeat ones too. And today was the start of replacing this totally rotten window sill! Those insect screen look like they could do with being replaced too 😎. Watch this space!

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Gardening & Property Maintenance All-Rounder to assist with gardening, pressure cleaning and general property maintenance work across Darwin.

This role suits someone practical, detail-oriented, and who takes real pride in doing a quality job.

About the Role

You’ll be helping with tasks such as:
- Garden tidying, planting, weeding, mulching
- Lawn & grounds care
- Pressure cleaning and exterior cleaning
- General outdoor / property maintenance
- Labouring jobs as needed

We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Is practical, trustworthy and hardworking
- Has strong attention to detail
- Takes pride in their work
- Is reliable and shows initiative
- Is fit, acclimatised and comfortable working outdoors in Darwin conditions all year round

Requirements
- Based in Darwin
- Own suitable vehicle with towball
- Able to tow
- Able to work casually (hours will vary)
- Able to work safely and follow instructions
- Employee or subcontractor arrangement available
- Experience in gardening
