Today we removed a 40m tall blue gum in Wyoming. The access from backyard to front yard was terrible, so we sent the whole over the roof using a flying Fox technique. If you can transfer branches across the shortest point between the tree and the chipper why wouldn’t you? ALOT of skill and ALOT of rigging equipment was used but boy it was fun!

On this beautiful Friday Logzilla and the team removed a large, stone cold
Dead, (presumed) blackbutt log. The customer had the brittle branches pruned off many years ago hoping it would recover. What the last arborist did wrong was not educate the customer on correct pruning techniques; you cannot remove the canopy of a eucalyptus tree, or most other trees and expect it to survive. So we were fronted with an enormous amount of dead hardwood overhanging important structures. With some careful rigging and a team of skilled arborists we successfully got this tree to the ground.

These palm trees are a personal least favourite of mine. They are ugly, they make a mess and they are covered in razor sharp spikes on every frond.
By removing this palm the customer has gained extra sunlight, and also gotten rid of an eye sore and a hazard just in time for Christmas.

This is the result of dumping a load of mulch for the customer at the end of the day. We left deep wheel compressions on the front lawn. This is not something that we want to leave behind anywhere, so we went back on the Saturday morning with topsoil and filled in the wheel Rutts and smoothed it over to restore the lawn to its former glory ready for spring ☀️

Two monster blackbutt removed from Bensville yesterday. All the timber was left on site and cut up for firewood. A very happy customer with a safer backyard and a lifetime worth of good quality firewood.

Today Logzilla and the team removed a tree using a flying fox to lower the branches. Thousands of dollars were saved due to this method as it meant that a crane was not required. Beneath the tree was a garage and a fence so it could not be lowered down directly beneath the tree as we usually would.

Today we finished the clearing of a residential block to make way for a new subdivision. The block had 5 large trees on it that required much care and skill to dismantle. With the help of a 16t crane and an excavator the job was completed with no fuss.

This is an ENORMOUS blackbutt in Avoca beach that was removed over the weekend by Logzilla and the team. We had 8 workers on the ground and one in the tree. Access was terrible and the tree was challenging but we managed to get the job done in a day. We were putting our equipment back in the truck in the dark of night but the job went smoothly.
