Restock done today.
In our medicinal plant range we have added Goldenrod, more comfrey and elderberry trees.
In our Herbal Tea range we have added Peppermint and Nettle Leaf - just in time for allergy season.
If you have any questions for Danyell - today is the day to pop in and ask them.

Echinacea is waking up again with the warmer weather.
Both the aerial parts and the roots are used medicinally.
Most people have heard of it for immune support and infections. But it can also be used for skin health - externally. It can also be used for gastrointestinal conditions and UTI’s.
It can be used at the onset of colds and flu for prevention. It can be used for tonsilitis, bronchitis, hay fever & whooping cough to reduce the symptom duration.

Lemon Balm is part of the mint family. A wonderful relaxant.

Spilanthes aka Toothache

When chewed on or rubbed on the gums this flower or ‘buzz pod’ causes a numbing sensation and helps relieve oral pain, great for teething babies.
Toothache also has antiviral and antibacterial properties.

For a teething baby a strong infusion could be made, soak a face washer in the solution, then freeze. Your baby can use this to gnaw on to relieve teething pain.
