Another enjoyable and successful Orchid show at the weekend. EDOS had their show at Belmont. Over 400 plants submitted for judging making an amazing display.
Once again, Rodney took out Champion dendrobium with a magnificent specimen. A few photos here for those who couldn't make it.

Aranbeem Orchids WILL be open this Saturday 5th September from 9am till 1pm. Please use the entrance gate on Priests Road (look for the banner).
There is a big Orchid Show on at Belmont this weekend. Eastern District Orchid Society Inc. is holding their spring show. It should be quite spectacular. Rodney will be benching a number of his special native dens, and we will have quite a lot for sale in the general sales area.
There will still be some interesting plants for sale here at the nursery, with a lot of plants just opening. Come along and have a look. FREE coffee etc.

Aranbeem Orchids WILL be open tomorrow, Saturday 29th August from 9am till 1pm. Please use the entrance gate on Priests Road (look for the banner). There is also an Orchid Show at Pine Rivers Showground which is worth visiting.
Come along and have a look at our range of seedlings. See the last of the hard cane flowering dendrobiums and the first of the soft cane dendrobiums.

This is almost "old News", but I thought I would share some of the successes that Rodney had at the ANOS/KABI show the previous weekend.
He won Champion Dendrobium and Champion Dendrobium hybrid with a magnificent plant. Then there were all the other prizes - I think 10 in all. All dendrobiums - Rod's passion in orchids. ALL of these plants were from Rod's personal collection - NOT nursery stock. We will breed/propagate off these to build up nursery stock over coming years.

Orchid Society show on at Belmont tomorrow and Sunday, but we still have a few flowering plants, heaps of good quality well priced seedlings and lots of free advice and free coffee (DIY).

We have set up for the ANOS/KABI Show at Pine Rivers Showground. The show is on tomorrow from 8.30am - 4pm and on Sunday from 8.so - 2pm. Come along and have a look.
