Congratulations Connor, we can't believe you are now in your 4th year of your apprenticeship.

We are so very proud of you! You have shown great work ethic & show pride in your work.
You make a great team with Shannon before he gets a chance to ask you to perform a task you're already all over it !

A depleted anode can significantly reduce the life of your hotwater tank and elements.

As a rule of thumb it is good to have your hotwater units anode replaced every 3-5 years if using clean water. This can be dramatically reduced to as little as 6 months if you have poor or "hard" water.

The anode is what prevents your tank from rusting out and extends the life of the heading element too.

With a new tank costing >$1000 plus the install costs, an anode check and some preventative maintenance is a much cheaper alternative.
