SPRINGS - Old vs New ⚙️

Broken springs are one of the most common causes of garage door failure.

Garage door springs do the heavy lifting every time you open or close your door. When they wear out or snap, the motor and cables have to work much harder (and that’s when things can start to go really wrong).

We got a call to have a look at this sectional door in St.Helena last week. One of the springs had completely snapped and the other had definitely reached the end of its life!

We replaced these old, broken springs with brand new springs specific for sectional garage doors - restoring smooth, safe, and balanced operation for our customers 💪

🔄 Like-for-like refresh

The original roller doors on this home in Diamond Creek had completed nearly 30 years of service and had become worn and difficult to operate for our customers.

We discussed options to improve operation and extend the life of their existing doors but the owners were ready for an upgrade.

They wanted to keep the same look, so we installed new, smooth-operating Taurean roller doors in a similar colour and style.

Same classic look - just easier, quieter, and built to last another few decades 👏

Custom Roller Door Solution

Some footage from a recent project we completed in Greensborough (tradies are definitely NOT photographers 🥴)

Our customers had just moved into this home and they had a specific vision in mind for their roller door. They needed:

✔️ Extra clearance to accomodate a rooftop tent on their 4WD

✔️ Flush alignment with both their home and boundary fence for enhanced security

✔️ Weatherproof motorised opener, plus custom posts, flashings and structural timber supports

We prepped the site a week prior to hanging their door, chiselling through concrete to get the posts in just the right spot, tailoring every detail to suit.

As always, we left the site clean and tidy, leaving behind nothing but a reliable, high quality roller door built to last.
