I got a call to repair a concrete Deco Nouveau veranda roof in Floreat. Water was leaking through cracks in the concrete and a previous repair attempt had been unsuccessful.
I removed concrete from the previous repair, wire brushed the roof back to the original concrete and built mortar bevels to keep water away from the walls. Then I treated the concrete with bondcrete, and a Betta Brand primer and two coats of UV resistant bituminous paint.

Better Call Geoff has built a number of gates and repaired many more. This gate was rebuilt using a mix of new and existing hardwood.
Strong gates are screwed not nailed, (with two screws per intersection), have well secured gate posts, strong hinges and have the diagonal in the right orientation.
