World Environment Day is a reminder that planetary health starts small. In the soil. Under leaves.
Recently, a group of uni students chose Heronswood as the site for their ecological study. They explored biodiversity and the invertebrate life thriving in our garden.
It’s a good reminder that these tiny lives matter. And so do the gardens and organic gardening practices that protect them.

Bees may be small, but their role is massive. Today on World Bee Day, we're spotlighting the pollinators quietly keeping our ecosystems in balance and our gardens thriving.

Their work directly helps to pollinate most of the crops we eat and many that feed farm animals. Nearly two-thirds of Australia’s agricultural production benefits from bee pollination. Without them the diversity in our gardens, and diets, disappears.

Plant with purpose. Explore our collection of varieties that attract bees and other beneficial insects: https://www.diggers.com.au/collections/attract-bees-beneficial-insects
