I recently discovered some gorgeous ground cover type wattle... But I do love the ones with a tinge of pink in the flower and the incredible variety in their foliage 🥰

This beauty!

Getting to spend time in my own garden today ❤️🥰

I've worked hard on clearing a plethora of weeds infested with giant grasshoppers and little evidence of other insect life 🦗 & planting native species intending to increase local biodiversity & provide habitat & resources for local fauna.

Having this gorgeous guy visit & hang out all day in the garden with me is not only a wonderful thing to enjoy, it also means the work is paying off.
There are a variety of beneficial insects now, Kookaburras, King parrots, Magpies and Rosellas among the wide variety of Birdlife that now frequent our yard.
We also have a lovely little Marsh Snake that gives me a good fright every now and then 🤩 🐍

It is a delight to have such a swift impact, providing satisfaction & extra motivation after all the hard work. There is still so much to do & so much more growing to be done! I look forward to the haven this will be one day ❤️
