As I keep telling my children, money doesn’t grow on trees. The next best thing to grow on trees is delicious homegrown fruit. We picked the first of our peaches on Christmas eve and I took great delight in letting the kids compare the smell, texture and taste of our home-grown peaches to a store bought one. Their reaction was remarkable, they couldn’t believe the difference.

Our first peaches of the season are from an early ripening variety called ANZAC. It’s a white freestone peach, that looks amazing and tastes delicious. ANZAC peach is one of the varieties most resistant to curly leaf. If you have the space then I highly recommend planting one

Good morning! Since the physical nursery closed a couple of weeks ago, a few people have been asking about straw and which markets Twin Hives will be visiting🌿
Here is the current information:

*Straw*

Straw is available now, you will need to contact Dean directly (phone number and email in contact information on this page) and he will organise a day for everyone to pick up their straw from the former Monbulk nursery, where it is currently being stored.

*Markets*

Currently, there are two markets Dean and/or Bethany will be attending and they are Monbulk Produce Market and Kallista Village Market (Forest Edge Gallery & Nursery).
All plant stock which was available at the nursery, will be available;
Fruit & Nut trees, Citrus, Avocados, Blueberries, Feijoas, Currants, Raspberries and Brambles plus more🪴
