It’s me.
Yes. That gnome.

I didn’t want it to come to this, but here we are.

I’ve had to take on some questionable jobs lately.
Not proud.
Not asking questions.
Just doing what I had to do to scrape together enough change to pay the lady at the post office for a card and stamps so I could write to Mum and ask her to come rescue me.

I wrote the letter.
I posted the letter.
I waited.

And waited.

And waited some more.

Nothing.
No reply.
No call.
No “are you alive?”.
Not even a passive-aggressive message.

At this point I can only assume Mum has either:
• disowned me
• blocked me
• or is simply enjoying the silence

So I’ve made a decision.

If no one is coming to save me…
I’m moving this adventure out of state.

New roads.
New bad decisions.
Same gnome.

If Mum reads this — please know I did try.
If she doesn’t — honestly, that tracks.

Anyway.
I’ll keep you posted.
Probably from somewhere worse.

Mum still hasn’t found us…
But we’ve been very busy sending many messages from Sydney to help guide her this way!

So far, Gnome has:
🔹 Left clues all over the city
🔹 Tried shouting our location from the Harbour Bridge (no one heard him… he’s very small)
🔹 Attempted skywriting but ran out of budget
🔹 Considered asking a seagull to deliver a note home

Surely… surely… one of these messages will eventually reach her.
Once it does, she’ll be able to follow Gnome and his wild Sydney adventure — breadcrumb trail and all.

Until then, we remain unfound… unfollowed.. unloved.

I’ve been missing for DAYS and she still hasn’t noticed.
So now I’m climbing cacti in a foreign country with an axe and zero supervision.
