Another recent little job for Bev & Mark at Legana. They already had a retaining wall and decorative gravel but wanted a more usable space and requested some clean and tidy pavers to put potted plants & garden ornaments out. We also added a low maintenance garden.

One of our first jobs back for the year in Newstead for Annette, check out the fossils in the sandstone. Absolutely gorgeous! Annette is growing passionfruit & star jasmine vines up the new garden arbour, creating a cool green space in a couple years time. Can’t wait for a photo update from her then.

Check out this recent project we completed for Gill & John at Deviot. We installed a paved pad for a sauna, a rustic railway sleeper and timber landing for an outdoor shower (photos of that to come soon). We also took care of drainage, plumbing and built a cozy little timber boardwalk and deck overlooking the water for a relaxing seating area. Huge thanks to Blackstone Excavations for their rock retaining wall work that ties in perfectly with our paths, steppers, and native plants. Can’t wait to see what this looks like in a couple of years when the plants are taking shape.

We have had the privilege of commencing work on an 1820’s heritage farm house down south.
Thought I’d share the part I’ve enjoyed working on the most - dry stacked dolerite wall using only stones collected on site. Outdoor bath & composting toilet going in now. And that’s just the barn!
This is an incredible property I’m hoping to keep bringing to life with my incredibly hard working team. They have put in a huge effort the last couple of weeks 😮‍💨

Almost 2 years later and this garden is thriving. The Myoporum has created a gorgeous green cascade over the retaining wall and the Pittosporums have grown in beautifully to screen that fence just as planned. It’s a pleasure to hear from clients and to know they are enjoying their new outdoor spaces ☺️

Last week we helped revamp the entertainment area of this Bridport holiday home. Clients had already completed the decking themselves and rendered back walls. We think it looks fresh and once the natives grown will give it a nice coastal feel. Thanks Daryl and Karen 😊
