Hardly ever in the city these days, but Flinders St Station will always feel super familiar. Picking through old photos for Melbourne icons and bits and pieces from back in the day to draw. Had fun with this one.

Vote YES!

If you don't know or are unsure, don't default to NO, take the time to understand the issue. It's not divisive or risky, neither is it particularly complex or difficult to understand.

This is a huge opportunity to take a small but important step towards compassion, acknowledging our true history, healing as a nation and celebrating the amazing, enduring culture of this magical place.

We've been sitting on this one for what feels like forever. Stoked to finally be able to show some images of our Watsonia North Primary School project in conjuction with

Our journey with Watsonia North Primary School began with a full campus masterplan in late 2021. Stage 1 of that masterplan - a new Middle School Building for years 3-4 will be going out to tender in a few weeks.

We're looking forward to posting some more images soon, but for now here is a quick sneak peek of the new, central, informal learning area which connects a series of six classrooms - paired for team teaching capability, a new STEAM workshop, staff workspace, small group learning room, and gender-neutral amenities.

The tree cutout and much of the colour palette were derived from the Manna Gum; indigenous to the area and culturally significant to the Wurundjeri People. The Wurundjeri take their name from the Woiwurrung words ‘Wurun’ meaning the Manna Gum and ‘djeri‘, the grub which is often found in or near the tree.

We're looking forward to releasing some more images once the dust settles on the tender process. Stay tuned...

Was pretty stoked to get this guy in the mail the other day after and I managed to squish in some study in amongst the couple of years of lockdowns and Coronapocalypse.

A great opportunity via to broaden and develop my understanding of sustainability and climate beyond just architecture and the built environment. Some great staff and students preaching positive, achievable solutions to the , loved it. Thanks .happy for the idea!

This is one of my favourite photos of Broken Ridge House. Mostly because it shows that we nailed the eaves! This is in summer, and the shadow shows that the eaves are perfectly preventing the summer sun from hitting the floor, reducing unnecessary heat load on the building. This same image in Winter should show winter sun entering the living room from a lower angle in the sky providing passive solar heating, reducing auxillary heating requirements and generally making the living room a nice place to be in the colder months.

Digital 3D modelling can be amazingly accurate in testing passive solar measures these days, so there's really no excuse for getting the basics wrong!
