2025 has been a busy year for Minx.
The year started with the handover of a number of our projects in the West: MacKillop College - St Mary's Campus in Werribee, St Mary MacKillop Catholic Primary School in Bannockburn and Clifton Springs Primary School which also won a commendation in the LEA Victoria Chapter awards.
The completion of Croydon SDS and St Ita's Catholic Primary School in Drouin kept James busy along with his ongoing work at Mordialloc College. Liz has delivered a project at Resurrection Catholic Primary School in Keysborough and has work underway at St Margaret's Catholic Primary School in Maribyrnong.
We have also been working on a couple of projects in Melton which are now under construction and we are looking forward to spending some time on site next year watching them emerge.
The new Mary Glowrey Catholic Primary School and Children's Hub have been on the drawing boards too - well on the computers - and construction has now started in Mt Duneed.
St Josephine Bakhita Catholic Primary School in Clyde North, Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School in Herne Hill, Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School in St Albans and the Stage 4 Project at St Mary MacKillop Primary School are also under construction.
We are looking forward to taking the projects that we have been documenting in 2025 on site in 2026. Stay tuned for our posts as they come out of the ground.
On a personal note there have been two weddings this year. Congratulations to Frank D'Andrea and Adam Trifiletti, both were married (not to each other).
We welcomed Neil Zimmerman to our team in 2025 and he has become a valuable team member since.
We also extended our Employee Share Scheme to include two new members - Helene Detje and Kelly Girven.
Sadly we will be saying goodbye to Mel Walton at the end of 2025. Mel has been with Minx for just over 10 years and her contribution to our practice has been valued by all. Mel is heading off to India for two years and she will be greatly missed by our staff and clients alike. We wish her the best for her new adventure.
We would like to wish all of our colleagues, clients and consultants a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to working together again in 2026 after a well earned break!
