While I am interested in all things garden related, my true passion is in growing fruit trees, and particularly in the development and ongoing management of (syntropic) food forests.

In this video, I take the viewer on a tour through my own food forest, which is still in it's very early stages, and demonstrate how we are working to maximise the productivity of the limited space on our average size block.

Though this video was shot at the end of October, we have already made many changes and additions to our garden, with many more currently planned and in motion. It is a never ending journey which both myself and my fiance are very passionate about.

We hope to keep a regularly updated video journal of our progress, which I plan to continue to share on YouTube.

Just to update this much neglected page...

Wolsy's Garden Service is alive and thriving. I have not been giving this page any attention, or otherwise advertising, as my much valued regular clients have kept me busy non stop for probably a couple of years now. I haven't had the capacity to take on many new clients, and certainly no big landscaping jobs.

I did fit in a few landscaping jobs for my regular clients during the last couple of winters, which I did mean to share photos of, but I haven't got around to it.

Mostly I'm just flat out with garden maintenance, these days.

The continued support of my client base is always enormously appreciated!

A few things I've done since my last update. Love doing these small landscaping jobs.

Finished up this job last week, putting in some new garden beds with a nice, tidy paved path surrounding, for a long time client and friend of mine.

You can see the elevated path I constructed a year ago still looking very neat and tidy, in a couple of these photos.

Was great to be doing a project like this again. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Recent job restoring an old retaining wall, tidying up a garden bed, and throwing in some white scoria for effect.

Little job I did to create a bed the clients could put their pot plants on.

Recent job where the client wanted a border to create a rose garden. So I tried my hand at a bit of stone masonry, following the theme of the walls already in place.

Encountered some very challenging weather along the way, but it was an enjoyable and rewarding job, with good results in the end.
