Winter sun warms the living areas, filtering through timber frames inspired by a relic of ornament found on the original verandah rails. Only one remnant of this survived. In 2023 the WA Chapter is thrilled to host its annual Presentation to Juries Day at Curtin University's state-of-the-art School of Design and the Built Environment (DBE) building, designed by John Wardle Architects.

Featuring some of Australia’s most prominent architects, this event is a rare opportunity for the general public to learn about the architectural process (from concept to construction) of projects entered in the 2023 WA Architecture Awards.

Judging will span 10 major categories, with a 7-minute presentation, followed by a 3-minute Q&A.
