Along with SEE Change, we are urgently seeking volunteers interested in helping to establish a new community garden in Gowrie.

If you're keen to get involved, please reach out via DM or by emailing [email protected] or [email protected] by the end of August.

We are especially looking for volunteers with skills or equipment in the following areas:
- fencing
- plumbing/irrigation
- clearing land for plots
- planning/organising
- digging post holes and trenches
- carpentry
- general volunteer labour

🌿🕵️ Sleeper weeds - Can you help find them?

Did you know that some of the plants we often use in our gardens and landscapes are starting to take over our natural areas in Canberra? Unfortunately, some of these sneaky weedy species are still being recommended by the ACT Government and sold in nurseries.

We need your help to document their invasiveness and put pressure on removing them from nurseries and government plantings.

So, if you come across any sleeper weeds in our public open spaces and reserves, please take photos and note their locations, then share your findings on Canberra Nature Map.
