Woahhh, just give us a minute…

Over the last week I’ve been working on this particular piece. Bit of a Van Gogh missing an ear at the moment... but; the artwork stands for something important, particularly now.

If you were unaware “Suicide is the leading cause of death for Australians between the ages of 15 and 44 (AIHW, 2022a).”

That’s what this piece is about. It’s about learning to accept the darkness, to acknowledge its place, and to allow better things to come forth. To allow hope back into one’s heart... because there’s always hope for a brighter day.

After a long time of blood sweat and tears the website is finally up. Even if you’re not in need of art go check it out! Who knows you might find something you like or a piece that will perfectly fill a wall. The website is a reflection of me, the artist, so you won’t just be looking at lines on paper; yet instead a story riddled with emotions. For what is art without some kind of meaning?
