**This incident concluded without injury to security personnel, building occupants or members of the public**

Last Friday at approximately 3:13am, a Standby Security officer conducting routine patrols in Geelong identified an individual on the rooftop holding an axe near the plant room access door.

Our officer immediately assessed the situation, maintained a safe distance, and contacted Victoria Police requesting urgent attendance. Continuous observation was maintained while prioritising personal safety and the security of the premises.

Police arrived within minutes, engaged with the individual and subsequently made an arrest.
