Let’s talk dream painting projects! 🐾

I’ve been putting together a list of breeds I am absolutely dying to bring to life in watercolour. If you own one of these breeds, you officially have my attention!

Between the beautiful coat textures of the Rough Collies, the distinct spots of a Dalmatian, and the sheer personality of a Westie—there is so much fun texture to play with here.

June bookings are officially open, but I am keeping things exclusive this month. I have just 5 slots total available, and books close strictly on June 7th so I have ample time to get them beautifully finished and out the door before July.

Details 👩🏻‍🎨🎨

Stepping outside my usual routine to paint a short-coated pet was exactly the creative spark I needed this week. It’s amazing how a change in coat texture can completely refresh your perspective.

To the little girl who promised we’d be here 🌈✨

If you asked this little girl what she was going to be when she grew up, she didn’t hesitate. She told everyone who would listen with total, quiet certainty: "I’m going to be an artist"

You best believe I kept her promise 🤍

I’m so glad she stayed so sure of herself. She didn't know about all the life that would happen in between or how many hours I’d spend at my desk finding my way, but she knew exactly where she belonged.

I feel like I’ve spent my whole life just trying to make her proud, and I’m so grateful I get to be the one to give her the life she always said we’d have.

I think she’d be pretty happy to see where we ended up. Turns out, she was right all along.

It’s a bit of a pinch-me moment looking at these side-by-side. Thank you for being part of this journey and helping me keep that little girl's promise. I honestly couldn’t do it without your support 🌈🖌️

Balancing the paintbrush in one hand and a toddler’s hand in the other isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely the most rewarding 'job' I’ve ever had. Studio Lolly wouldn’t be what it is without the inspiration I get from my little apprentice every single day. Hope your day is filled with love 🤍🐾

If you’ve been following my work, you know I believe the eyes are the most important part of any portrait.

Things have been a little "top secret" around the studio lately! I’m knee-deep in some beautiful new pieces, and although my clients have me sworn to secrecy, I wanted to show you what’s been keeping my brushes busy.

Each set of eyes in this carousel belongs to a very special subject, and even in these early sketch stages, you can see so much personality starting to emerge. I can’t wait to share the final reveals with you all when the time is right!
