Lorraine Lea
I started my Lorraine Lea journey in a tiny town called Pingrup (with just 40 people living in town) when my son Hemi was about 6 weeks old. By that stage I had been a stay at home mum for about 10 months and I was itching to start something to help out the family budget, which was just covering the basic’s. I did my first event after my 6 weeks “no driving allowed” after my C-Section, and took both kids to all my local events for the first 6 months or so. When you live in a remote area, these events are a life blood. They literally glue the community together, as they provide friendship, play dates, catch up’s with out of town folk, and a reason just to get everyone together that does not involve sport!
After about 12 months, I moved my Lorraine Lea business 800kms away to Mingenew (and I felt like I hit the jackpot, 300 people living in town). I had to start my business from the ground up, but you know what, people start their Lorraine Lea business everyday of the year, and I already had all the tools to start up (again)!! I went to my first in home meeting in Geraldton, over 100kms away in February 2018, and by April I was the top seller in the Midwest. I went on the be the top seller May and June as well, and in July, organised a pop up shop for the whole team to be apart of (again, 100kms away from home).
While living in Mingenew I achieved 3 AMAZING THINGS; 1; I had my first $100,000 year! 2; I stepped up to Trainee Leader! 3; I won the inaugural “Rising Star Award” for the whole of Australia.
In March 2020, my small family relocated for work once again, this time into the “big smoke” of Geraldton, a whopping 30,000+ people! I managed to step up to Leader as of the 1st of July, which has been an incredible and so far mind blowing experience after so long chasing my dream. My little team is called Rural Queens, and we are spread all over the whole of Western Australia. I am so excited to see what our future holds, as we grow personally and professionally with Lorraine Lea.
