We just wanted to let you know that registrations & merchandise pre-orders for the 2022 Baffle Creek Family Fishing Festival are now open!
This year the Baffle Creek Family Fishing Festival will be held from Monday 19th to Sat 24th September, the first week of the Sep school holidays.
If you are coming from out of town be sure to check out our "Local Places to Stay" album on Facebook, there are plenty of camping & accommodation options available locally.
There are 31 Fish Category prizes this year and we have over $35,000 worth of prizes up for grabs!
Some of our Major Prizes include:
Senior Major Draw: SeaJay 3.7 Nomad HS, trailer and 15 yamaha motor package valued over $11000 supplied by Bundaberg Marineland
Junior Major Draw: TBA
Pre-Junior Major Draw: Kids Kayak valued over $200 thanks to Koastal Kayaks
Early Bird Draw: 35L IceBox thanks to Engel Australia
Mangrove Jack Cash Prize: Just catch a legal size Mangrove Jack during the week & go into the draw for $500 CASH thanks to Tackle World Bundaberg.
Also don't for get your glory shots, Be wearing a Tackle World shirt in the shot and you will go into the draw for a $200 Voucher Thanks to Tackle World Bundaberg. The same goes with Mako Eyewear. We are giving away a pair of sunnies every day to an entrant who has a Mako eyewear sticker on their boat/watercraft in their shot.
This year you may enter the 2022 Baffle Creek Family Fishing Festival as "Individual Entrants" OR as a "Family".
2022 Entry Fees
Individual Entrants:
Seniors (16yrs & over): $50 each
Juniors (8 to 15 yrs): $30 each
Pre-Juniors (3 to 7 yrs): $20 each
PLEASE NOTE: ALL full fee-paying individual entrants will be entered into prize draws
Family Entry:
2 seniors & up to 3 children: $100
PLEASE NOTE: Only Senior Family members will be entered into prize draws, however all family members will be included in all fish category prizes.
All team members must be immediate family members ie: parents & their children
2022 Official Competition Merchandise
Our Official 2022 Merchandise is proudly designed & supplied by LJMDesign, a family-owned and operated business based in Tropical North Queensland.
Available in a wide range of sizes for both adults & kids, with the choice of long sleeve polos, short sleeve polos & singlet tops. Shirts are quick-dry, sun-safe, cool & comfortable.
We also have stubby coolers... we all know how important it is to keep your drinks cool while out fishing...
If you are not able to attend our event you can still pre-order some merchandise, just add the postage option to your order.
We also have some new Brag Mats this year, which once again are proudly sponsored by Rocky Point Retreat, Winfield & this year they have been supplied by B-Rad Brag Mats, Bribie Island.

2022 Family Fun Day
As usual, at the end our Comp we will all come together for our Family Fun Day on Saturday 24th September from midday at the Baffle Creek Community Grounds.
With free entry to the Fun Day, live entertainment, amusements for the kids, market stalls & more, there will be loads of fun and entertainment for all, including our famous "Mullet Throw" Competition.
Everyone is welcome to our Family Fun Day, whether you have entered the fishing competition or not...
Our competition prize presentations & promotional prize draws will be held between 3pm & 5pm, then you can sit back & relax & enjoy some more live entertainment while we organise the Major Prize Draws for about 7pm, & the final raffle draws about 6pm. The Fun Day will close at 8pm.
