🗣 POST-STORM GREEN WASTE COLLECTION

The City has engaged the services of two arborists and their equipment for a post-storm green waste verge side collection for Bunbury residents.

These collections will run the same as previous over three zones A,B and C (see image below).

One arborist will start in Usher (Area A) and the other in Glen Iris/Vittoria Heights (Area C) and they will work their way through each suburb, ending up in Area B.

The collections will commence in these areas on Monday 18 May, enabling residents to get their green waste verge side.

Should residents wish to dispose of green waste earlier and are able to transport their green waste, the Household Recycling Centre at 21 McCombe Road will have bins available for green waste disposal as of this Tuesday 12 May.

This facility will be open from 9am to 2.30pm from Tuesday next week through to Friday 15 May for this purpose.

Due to these collections being conducted verge side with chippers in operation, we apologise in advance for the noise and any inconvenience this may cause.

We kindly ask all residents to keep clear of the plant while in operation.

KIKUYU or as i like to call it devil's grass. 2 main garden beds overrun and well established. This job took an entire day+ and appox 6 wheelie bins of garden waste. But look at those edges ahhh. Now the hard bits done maintenance is going to be easy and affordable for our clients. Hmmm and mulch and plants and........
