Tiny home is 3mx6m with an under cover deck that is 2mx4m.
Built on a steel frame to allow transportation by tilt tray truck. Having the home on a steel frame allows the home to sit lower to the ground for ease of access and allows it to be 25% wider than a normal tiny home on wheels. All steel used is Australian made galvanised RHS for long life.

Hardwood frame and weatherboards came from an old local farmhouse that was built in the 1940’s I believe. The frame has been screwed together with batten screws and not nailed for added strength during transport like wise the the weatherboards have also been screwed on and not nailed.
The internal walls are Easy VJ paneling that is not only screwed but also held with construction adhesive. The large size of the panelling adds a massive amount of bracing support to the the build.
The Black Butt tongue and groove flooring not only feels good under foot it will also last for ever with underfloor insulation adding comfort year round.

Raked ceilings and a 3 meter width gives the the home a sense of openness and space, with room for full size kitchen cabinets, floor space for furniture giving you the ability to customise to your taste.
The kitchen has an Italian made gas cooktop, Australian made sink and a Dometic fridge to make the most of the power generated by the self contained off gird solar system. Hot water is provided by a Rinnai instant hot water system.

Bathroom has vanity and shower plus a space for a toilet of the buyers choice (composting, flush or cartridge toilet) to be installed before delivery. Plumbing is copper pipe for long life.

The three main considerations during the design phase of the build were,

Accessibility
Only one step to enter
Normal hight bed
No loft

Sustainability
Recycled timber
High quality components for long life
Solar power and full insulation of floor, walls and roof
Cross flow ventilation and high ceiling

Long term investment
Built like a real house to last a life time
Perfect short term rental
Add value to lifestyle block or farm

The home would suit a buyer looking to add an income stream to a rural property. Would also work very well on a lifestyle block for a weekend getaway or right down the bottom off the yard for when the in-laws come to visit.

The Tiny home is complete apart from the installation of the off grid solar system, hence the availability of late September.
