Recently our ensuite got a glow-up and that exposed a tired bedroom.
To wake up the bedroom we:
Lime washed the walls.
Built a wall-to-wall shelf headboard.
Added new bedsides.
And the rug that pulled it all together 🤍

We’ve been quiet on here, but life has been anything but quiet!
I love this flashback pic of our 2nd commercial renovation of our shop with my sisters.
Andy and I have now tackled 10 homes, transformed our outdoor area, and right now we’re knee-deep in an ensuite makeover at our own place (thanks to a cheeky leak). On top of that, we’re helping bring two beautiful beach houses to life and one is so close to the sand and waves it redefines beachfront living. Tide in, tide out… that’s the daily soundtrack. 🌊

We experimented with lime wash to bring warmth into this space—and wow, did it deliver! Months later, we’re still in love with the depth and texture it adds. While it’s a bit more delicate than traditional flat paint (and definitely a labour of love to apply), the results speak for themselves. We’ve got plenty left over, so now we’re dreaming up the perfect spot for round two! Stay tuned…
