Tarrant Drive, Mudgeeraba — another dream home complete 🌿🏡

Perched atop the hill with sweeping hinterland views to the west and the Gold Coast skyline to the east, this architecturally-designed beauty is full of class and character. Working on this project was an absolute delight for the team at Thompson Cooling.

For this home we installed:
• 2 × Daikin 24 kW three-phase ducted split systems — powerful, efficient and expertly installed.
• Full integration with Advantage Air MyAir 5 smart controls, giving the homeowners full control of their climate from their mobile phone, wherever they are.

The result is a seamless, efficient air-conditioning system that complements the home’s design — perfect for enjoying those breathtaking views in comfort, no matter the season.

“El Fin” — 55 Stella Place, Bonogin

You’ve probably seen this home across the news and socials, and we were lucky enough to deliver the full air-conditioning design and installation alongside the outstanding team at MJW Building Worx.

With its modern architecture, exposed concrete ceilings and minimal roof cavity, this project demanded precision. Every detail had to be concealed, quiet and perfectly integrated.
Working closely with Mitch, Felicity and the MJW team allowed us to engineer a solution that kept the aesthetic untouched while delivering serious performance.

Ground floor: Two Daikin VRV systems (54kW), supplying nine slimline ducted and bulkhead units — all hidden and whisper-quiet.

Kitchen + bar: Custom powder-coated linear bar grilles, colour-matched to cabinetry and balustrades for a seamless finish.

Upstairs: A third 28kW VRV powering eight indoor units.

Whole home: Approximately 80kW of cooling capacity across the residence, brought together with Daikin Reiri smart controls for full mobile operation.

Another quality upgrade completed ✅
Our team decommissioned the existing systems and retrofitted 6 Daikin wall-mounted split systems for one of our valued aged care customers, ensuring year-round comfort and reliability for residents and staff.

For the past 25 years, Thompson Cooling has had the pleasure of servicing these 2 x Apac packaged units. Last week we had the bittersweet task of retiring them. In their place, we installed 2 x brand new Daikin 63kw packaged units, ensuring our long-standing customer stays cool and comfortable for years to come.
