Vintage Sewing and Knitting!

Fabric, Machines, Needles, Patterns, Wool, Style Books! The time travel back to memories of sitting at the big pattern book tables in Spotlight waiting for mum to pick a pattern.

(Probably not waiting patiently. I do remember climbing in the back of the fabric roll racks 🫣 the original childhood entertainment while shopping - no Ipads or Phones - we had to use our imaginations to create fun, whilst trying not to get in trouble from staff)

🎼 It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas… Cookie Jars galore… 🎵

Over the year, in our travels we have collected a bunch of Christmas Cookie Jars! One by one we grew this collection. Its been a bit of fun! And broken up the routine search for vintage wares and antiques.

We have some Worn Demin racks set up for you in the shed shop! There are some really great pieces of clothing - everything from denim, to dresses, to jumpers, tees, work attire, vintage, gym wear and more!

We have seen a few of the FREE pieces! Such a good idea to keep clothing in circulation.

Come check them out!

Our collection has grown (A LOT) in the last few months, and sometimes we come across pieces that are too good to toss, but not quite worth a price tag. 🧥

So here’s the deal - You will see 'FREE' on the tag, and if you can give that item a good home, it's yours! Just come let us know when you hand the hanger back. 🥰

Good clothes deserve another chance, and we’re not about to let them end up in landfill ♻️

Its this weeks shop drop!!!

We buy new stock each week for the shop. We often get asked where we source our goodies. Well… we buy in bulk from auctions, pickers, estates, and other liquidators.

And! Just like you enjoy coming in and treasure hunting through the shed, we very much enjoy the treasure hunt sourcing those goodies for you.

Dont forget we are open 7 days!!!

Mazz and Nicky will be there again! Trying to break records! Last time they saved nearly 200 pieces from landfill. What will they do this time?

It's on again!! We’re heading back to Rocklea Markets on Saturday, November 15th for another Closet Cleanout!

The racks are reloaded with reclaimed, revived & reloved denim, dresses, shirts, shorts, gym wear, mens and womens! All saved from landfill and ready for a new life.

6am til noon - alongside the fresh produce markets.

When you visit you are more than likely to be met by our Hens - The Egg Cartel - Goldie, Dottie, Ethel, Betty and Henrietta.

Often found playing dead (napping) on the bridge into the Nursery.

All are very friendly. (But also very opportunistic - they will take every opportunity to be in the shed shop with us. Which would be ok, but the little gifts they leave on the floor arn’t fun to clean up)

What do you know about Pitcairn Island?

It has a thick history for such a small place.

Population is currently 47. With some of those being descendants of Fletcher Christian - originally the First Mate of HMS Bounty.

Interestingly they have their own language called Pitkern - a combination of 18th century English and Tahitian.

To travel to Pitcairn Island you need a visa and passport that gets stamped upon arrival.
