Ironworx Australia's Roger Tite combines technical welding and fabrication techniques with engineering concepts and creative flair to make rustic steel sculptural pieces which complement a garden and enhance the experience of viewing and interacting with nature. Roger loves the challenge of manipulating heavy materials like steel to shape and bend into something beautiful, but also functional. The

pieces are designed to be enjoyed in a garden to attract birds, display plants and flowers or encourage the regaling of tales around a warm fire. Rain and sun help develop the natural rusty patina, which will continue to develop over time. All pieces are handmade (no jigs or templates) so each one is unique. Larger items such as bird baths, sculptures and braziers/fire pits are one off designs that can not be replicated - so if you see one you like make sure you grab it before it is gone! Hi Everyone,
Just a friendly reminder I will be making a comeback to face to face markets and events this weekend 23rd and 24th April at the Southern highlands botanical gardens plant fair 😁👍.

As some of you would remember I do try to have a few special peices and larger items at garden festivals.

I hope some of you can make it, it is a ticketed event but we'll worth it. The gardens in the highlands look spectacular with all the Autumn colour this time of year 🍁🍂🥰.

Some of you might have noticed that I've been pretty quiet for the last 6 months or so. It's has been crazy to say the least...

This might take a min to read, I haven't done a post for a while and have stories to tell 😅....

So, I was going to make a comeback to face to face markets this weekend but unfortunately were cancelled for the 3rd year in a row. Not covid related but flood and weather damage to the village this time 😪.

But wait,,,,
There is some good news, I just got the site map for the Southern highlands botanical plant fair. Wow I'm excited 😊. I will be at the Southern highlands botanical gardens plant fair in less than 2 weeks woooo hoooo 😁. It is a ticketed event but we'll worth the effort.

Our garden and the Southern highlands "Bowral NSW" and surrounds look amazing this time of year. The plant fair is part of a Autumn garden festival 🍁🍂🍃.
Some of these gardens are absolutely amazing and no words can describe then, they have to be seem to be believed 😉.

Ps, life's been a bit tough but im always smiling and tinkering in the bush. I can put another feather in my cap I have become a self tought stone mason and road builder due to all the flood damage ha ha. I hope some of you can come to the plant fair and have a chat. It's been a while 🙄...

Next week we will be having a week or so off to recharge the batteries and work out weather we are going to continue with the online store 😏.

This might take a min to read 🤪....

After our short break if we decide to continue with the online store there will be a price increase to cover the increasing costs or freight, materials and packaging. Unfortunately we can't keep going as we are now with no garden festivals or events 😕...

It's not all bad ha ha 😉. Katrina and I will both be double vaxed at the end of November and we have our fingers crossed that there might be a few Christmas markets 😁....

Anyway, long story short is we have limited stock of some products and some out of stock until we can get good quality material again. "I refuse to use cheap rubbish steel".

📣📣📣To bet the price rise and help us out please order before 27th September. There are so many delays with freight at the moment, so pretty please order early for Christmas.

Thanks soooooo much for understanding, we tried so hard to keep ticking along as normal but this is something we have to do ❤.

Hey 👋...... I hope this doesn't sound like a rant but I want to be 100% honest and upfront with everyone.

Grab a cuppa or cold drink and take the time to read this 😉.

As many of you would already know, Katrina and I have been making quality handmade products for years now as a husband and wife team on a property in the Southern Tablelands. I inparticular loved seeing the smile on people's faces when I told my story and explained how and why I made things the way I do at garden festivals and events.

It seems now we have become a online store 🙄. I still try and share story's and share our adventures through emails, chats and social media but its not the same as talking to "the bloke with rusty hands 😉".

We can't keep absorbing the rising costs of ppe, freight, packaging, PayPal, bank fees etc. I like to say to Katrina "babe we sell quality handmade products we don't sell packaging and postage". Unfortunately very soon the cost of processing and shipping will cost more than the product itself 😪😪😪.

Sooo,

As of the 27th September 2021 we will be hitting the big pause button on the online store for a week or so to regroup, smell the roses and take a serious look at how to pass on / share the new expenses this crazy world has thrown at us ha ha 😉....

There will be a price rise on the feeders if we decide to keep going as a e-commerce business or we will just hold our breath until we can return to face to face events and festivals.

📣📣📣 PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE GET YOUR CHRISTMAS ORDERS IN BEFORE 26TH of September to beat the price rise and our small break. So many orders are being delayed with the freight companies struggling to keep up and I would hate anyone to miss out.

We do everything we can to have all orders processed and shipped within 3 business days but, once it leave our hands we 🤞and hope it gets to you or a loved one asap. Like I said "we sell handmade products not freight 🤪".

Sorry about the long story but I had to tell it 😘...

Ps, We are genuinely out in the sticks, the chair in the pic is my glamorous office chair where I write facebook posts from. It's the only place I have good enough phone service in the bush lol 🤣....

Hi Everyone,
This might take a minute, stay with me 🤣👍...

So this week we have really been working on what is the future for us a small Australian family business?

3 years ago we created the online store as a way of generating a small income between garden festivals and events.

We never intended to be a online business but this seems to be the way of the future for many businesses like ours 🙄.

Long story short is we have been absorbing many cost on freight, packaging and time to process orders etc.

📣📣📣As off 27th September 2021 we will have to increase our prices to stay in business as a online business. If this doesn't work out, unfortunately we will have to press the big pause button on IRONWORX AUSTRALIA until we can return to garden festivals and events 😏...

Please share this post, and if you were thinking of getting one of our handmade products for Christmas please order before 26th SEPTEMBER 2021.

PS. These new twisted tear and King designs are made from a heavier material and have a bit more substance HD heavy duty or high definition 😁👍 We will put them up on the website soon 😉....

Dragonflys and Drought daisies are normally only made for our Spring Garden festivals, no festivals again this year so as we make them we will add them to our website 😉👍.

Both the dragonflys and daisies are 100% handmade by us , no templates, jigs or fancy plasma, water jet or laser cutting. "Just good old fashioned hardwork and freehand construction". So they are all slightly different and unique, which makes them special I think 🤪 ❤.
