Elodie & Ava Designs Giving new life to old (and new) pieces of furniture I decided it was an opportunity to start a page, to house all of my little projects.

What started off as a one time paint job on a little child's chair, has now ended with myself painting and restoring quite a few pieces of furniture. The name "Elodie & Ava" was inspired by my two daughters (and basically I couldn't think of any else to name my little hobby). It is quite addictive this painting business-I love transforming a worn out piece of furniture to something modern, and som

ething that just looks beautiful.

This quaint chest of drawers would suit an entrance or even a little girls rooms. The drawers are on wooden runners and slide perfectly.

Fun fact- my painting of the Colosseum I got from a guy in Rome who was painting in the streets, whilst I was on a Contiki Tour about 16 years ago. It survived another month backpacking around Europe. 😊

This coffee table is now looking for a new home. I’ve had this sitting in the shed for a bit but always forget to post it.

Anyways..the top was stripped back to raw wood with a dark stain applied, the body was sanded back and painted in a fresh white colour with new drawer k***s.

It’s really so beautiful.
